Harriet Bauknight for Kaso Yellow, Orange and Brown Acrylic Lucite Dangle Brooch

This stunning and rare dangling brooch was made in the 1970s by one of Line Vautrin's students. The brown Talosel framing boasts an encrusted geometric form with honey amber resin cabochons on a silver foil background. The brooch has a security closing clasp at the back. There is no visible designer's mark. Dimensions: 1.69 in wide (4.2 cm) by 3.07 in long (7.8 cm). Reference: In the 1970s, the boutique Line Vautrin opened on the Left Bank in Paris and is thriving. However, Line is a designer, not a manager, and she needs to be involved in the creative process. She plans to open and lead a school where she will teach her manufacturing processes to others.
