About the Item
This delightful pair of Bumble Bee brooches were crafted by highly regarded designing jeweler, Asch Grossbardt. The specialty of this particular firm is intricate hard stone inlay, which is on prominent display here. Vivid Lapis-Lazuli, black onyx and Mother of Pearl along with gold and diamonds all combine to create these fanciful and happy objects. Each thorax is in hard stone and each abdomen is a striped combination of hard stone and Mother of Pearl. Wings are set with a total of forty brilliant cut diamonds having a total approximately weight of 1.00ct, with an overall quality of G color and VS1 clarity. Both measure 1 3/16 inches in length by 1 1/8 inches in width. Stamped 14k and "AG" for the maker. Gross weight for the pair 13.85 grams.
