This fine and impressive vintage brooch has been crafted in platinum and 18k yellow gold. This vintage brooch has been modelled in the form of a sword/knife/dagger with a twisted handle. The handpiece of the sword is embellished with two interlacing arrays of round faceted cut rubies and Dutch cut diamonds. The impressive platinum triangular blade envelops a feature pearl, replicating a piercing, cutting motion of a spherical object; the platinum blade indicates the high quality of the piece. This impressive ruby and diamond vintage brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp fastening. This stunning piece of vintage jewellery has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum and 18k gold. A fine and impressive vintage 0.14 carat diamond and 0.03 carat ruby, 18 karat gold brooch; part of our diverse gemstone jewellery collections. This fine and impressive vintage brooch has been crafted in 18k yellow gold. The brooch has been modelled in the form of a simplified seated figure dressed in Chinese attire, singing and playing an accordion. The accordion has extended bellows and is ornamented with five individually collet set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds to each handpiece. The figure's convex spherical head is ornamented with two transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds replicating the eyes, in addition to a round faceted cut ruby representing the character's mouth. The accordionist is wearing a plain cross brace to the torso, with a horizontal ribbed texture beneath.
