About the Item
A very cute and utterly charming pair of gilt metal, and black antelope/suede earrings, in the form of a 'butterfly'. Light and easy to wear, beautifully made and detailed, they are a lovely and subtle taste of Art Deco and French 1920s fashion.
Starting with two shops in Paris in the early 1920s, Henry a La Pensee expanded throughout the 1920s to the South of France, opening branches in Deauville, Biarritz, Cannes and Nice. Whilst not a fashion designer, the shops contained a myriad of luxury items from jewellery through to accessories.
