Aztec Earrings Descending Eagle Warrior Cuauhtemoc Sterling Silver Gold Plated
About the Item
Indulge in these stunning Aztec Falling Eagle Earrings from the Mexica culture in Gold Plated Sterling Silver. The earrings are interpretations of ancient Pre-Hispanic Mexica culture Cuauhtemoc Earrings. The earrings feature the strongly bent beak and the ruffled head feathers which give the eagle its characteristic predatory appearance. A butterfly hangs from the beak with the chalchihuite symbol in the center. At the bottom hang four hinged pendants which consist of three sections; the first two are made up of bunches of feathers and the last one of bells. The earrings represents "the falling eagle" or cuauhtémoc.
The earrings are 2 1/2 inches (63mm) long. They are 20mm wide.
The earrings are hallmarked 925L for Sterling Silver.
