Silver Earrings by Studio Else & Paul Made in 1960s

About the Item

These are sterling silver dangling earrings with a patterned surface finish. The lower part of the earrings forms a triangle with sizeable, hollowed-out spaces, giving a modern geometric look. Above the triangles, the earrings feature a chain of small silver globes that add an elegant touch to the design. The earrings are designed to be worn through the earlobe and held securely in place with a post and a clutch back. The combination of matte silver and the playful movement of the dangling parts creates a stylish accessory for various occasions. Else & Paul Hughes were pioneers of the modernist jewelry movement in Norway in the early 1960s and when creating their jewelry many times they were inspired by other cultures.
