About the Item

A pair of Finish Retro Vintage 14K Earrings on secure hooks with bezel set oval cut Blue Spinel stones. Stones are likely lab made and imitate valuable Natural light blue Spinels very closely. Made in Finland, both wires hallmarked 585 for 14K Gold, the crown of Finland. There are fragments of the maker's hallmarks. No year combination on this pair. Made ca.1930s - 1950s. Each earring is 19 mm long, and each stone is 10 mm x 5 mm. Weight: 2.32 grams. Used finest condition. The stones are in fine shape, some natural patina makes the Gold look a bit reddish. > > Most of the items that we sell are not new at all if not stated otherwise. Stones of the rings photographed alone may look a bit differently when on hand because your finger makes the back side of the stone closed and light no longer can go through and the color becomes different. Stones with closed backs may seem darker than stones with open backs. Such nuances of color perception do not give any excuse to claim item to be not as described.
