This Plum Flowers contemporary cocktail drop earrings with natural detachable emeralds are crafted from 18-karat yellow gold and adorned with 10 round diamonds. The emeralds are 9.5 x 7 x 6mm each, with a total weight of approximately 6 carats. This piece is part of the contemporary jewellery collection, which was featured in Vogue UA review in November. We use top-quality natural diamonds with a VS clarity grade and F-G color grade, and we work with a German gems company that has been in the market since the 19th century.
The sculptural design provides an extra shiny surface for the flowers and a subtle play of shadow and light. The diamonds add delicate sparkle to these contemporary earrings, and the cabochon drops allow light to pass through. The main difference between the classical Plum Blossom earrings and this edition is the number of flowers. These earrings look bigger and more noticeable, and on the ears, they appear elegant and even a little regal. In contrast, the classic Plum Blossom earrings without cabochons can be worn even during the day with jeans, and have a more contemporary attitude.
The plum flowers symbolize the energy of life, as the trees bloom in winter in the middle of February. These jewellery by the artist cocktail earrings can be worn without the drops.
