About the Item

Naturalistically modelled stickpin of a dog of outstanding quality, possibly a Yorckshire Terrier. The lovely animal has with ruby eyes, a golden snout and a pink enamelled tongue. It's head is set with rose diamonds mounted in platinum, the stickpin is made out of 18 karat gold. Beautiful work of a French master goldsmith around 1880-1890 with full French makers mark and contoll marks for gold and platinum.
