Art Deco Reverse Crystal Fishing themed Tie Clip from the 1930's.
Super reverse carving of a salmon in mid flight with a line in its mouth under a rock crystal cabochon. A mother of pearl backing adds to a luminescent glow behind the carving.
Wonderful gold 14k setting with a mechanical reel which moves! The realistic bamboo rod design cleverly follows the gold line directly into the carving of the "line" under the crystal.
High quality sporting theme jewelry for men was retailed in stores such as Tiffany and Abercrombie & Fitch (original incarnation).
Manufactured by Cresarrow, in Newark N.J., a manufacturing hub in the early 20th Century for fine jewelry.
