About the Item

Highly artistic three-colour guilloché enamel work on silver by the company of Heinrich Levinger, Pforzheim. The hatpin is fully signed with the initials HL within a shield. It has an impressed mark for 900 silver and the word “déposé“ on the reverse. The design shows chestnuts and leaves in sky blue on a silvery light blue background. The condition of the hatpin is truly excellent considering its age of over a hundred years. The pin has been executed around 1900/1905.
