About the Item
Presented is a magnificent example of an Italian 1950s fashion or costume necklace. The piece is hand made in a construction of clear crystal and white glass beads in large and small sizes strung together. Additionally, incorporated onto the necklace are gold plate star shape disks with the points set with rhinestones and attached to the necklace by a center bead. The necklace has a wonderful beaded cluster clasp. The design is intricate and has depth. The interior has a circumference of 15 inches and is approximately 1.5 inches wide in front. It is unsigned. However, the intricate construction and design are in the style of the Italian fashion jewelry company Bijoux LOSa who created many prototypes for Coppola e Toppo. Condition is very fine.
