About the Item
A modern beaded necklace made of antique Venetian Millefiori glass beads and pewter toned metal beads (as spacers). The necklace closes with a shiny 14 karat gold open box ball clasp. The Venetian glass beads are antique and the necklace in its current state was made by a professional jeweler in the 20th century. The antique beads have signs of their advanced age such as chips that are common for antique beads and at the same time give the necklace a wonderful patina. The glass beads feature bright red, yellow, and black and each bead has a unique pattern.
The gold closure is stamped with 14 k and 585 that stand for the 14 karat, 585 gold content. The closure is fully functional and closes tightly, it tested as 14 karat gold. The necklace is in good condition with normal to its age signs of use and time.
