A green tourmaline and diamond drop pendant, the openwork scroll and foliate design plaque millegrain-set with small Swiss-cut diamonds and eight calibre-cut green garnets, with a pear-shaped rose-cut green tourmaline drop, all suspended by an old pear-shaped diamond estimated to weigh 0.3 carats, with a white gold spectacle -set chain embellished with six ole European-cut diamonds and a bolt clasp, the diamonds estimated to weigh a combined total of 1 carat, all mounted in white gold, hallmarked 18ct gold London 2008, bearing the Bentley & Skinner sponsor mark, the pendant measuring 3.7 x 1.2cm, the chain measuring 40.5cm long, gross weight 4.5 grams.

A charming green tourmaline and diamond drop pendant. This pendant is one of many such jewels from the collection of Bentley & Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales. This pendant features a lush green tourmaline drop suspended from a deeply intricate and fine openwork scroll and foliate design plaque. The bright green garnets make a fine addition to this piece and compliment the diamonds well. Intricate and airy, this pendant marvellously conveys the sense of lightness which defined jewellery of the Edwardian period. This pendant would look particularly lovely paired with an elegant cocktail dress.
