Henry Perichon Bronze Chain Necklace with Talosel Jeweled Medallion

About the Item

French jewelry artist Henry Perichon (aka Henry) designed this unique Talosel and bronze pendant necklace in the 1960s. The piece features a worked gilded heavy chain complimented with a brown-beige Talosel resin oval pendant. The central medallion is topped with gilded bronze nuggets in a geometric hand-made shape. The hand-written artist's signature is engraved on the underside of the Talosel pendant and reads Henry - Modele Exclusif (Exclusive Model). This piece is a unique one-of-a-kind custom-made necklace. It was specially designed by Henry for an important client. The necklace is in good condition, with minor wear due to age. Measurements: The necklace's total length is 25.98 in long (66 cm) - The drop is 18.13 in long (46 cm) - the central pendant is 2.25 in wide (5.7 cm) x 5.69 in high (14.5 cm). Note: Henry Perichon (1910 - 1970), whose artist name is Henry, is one of the most inventive jewelry designers of the period. His studio was in Lyon, working on a medium such as bronze, silver, white metal, or Talosel resin. His style is hard to define, reflecting many influences, including Ancient, Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, and Art Deco. Many famous actresses from the 1950s and the 1960s, like Claudette Colbert, Suzanne Flon, Michele Morgan, and Edwige Feuillere, wore his jewelry on stage and in real life.
