An original handmade antique sterling silver and graduated turquoise necklace. Mounted with a total of 17 natural blue/green turquoise cabochons, each individually mounted on a silver setting with intricate silver leaf-design prongs.
Marked "925, CHINA", (...between around 1890 until c. 1920 all Chinese items that were to be imported into the US was required to be marked with the word "CHINA" as the country of origin (U.S. Stamp Act of 1894)).
