About the Item

Fulani Wedding beads were made in what was once known as Czechoslovakia for trade in Africa. They are worn throughout West Africa, specifically in Mali. Fulani Wedding beads are multicolored and come in different shapes and sizes. Some are in the shape of a bulb, while others are elongated, flat, or triangular. These wedding beads are strung in a way that allows them to swivel around the cord. Mali Wedding Beads are also known as Don Don Sole beads, and are worn by Fulani women. These beads on this necklace are hand strung on high quality nylon beading cord and have a loop and button closure.
