About the Item

This stunning Georgian pendant is from 1840 and features bright gold and a great amethyst! The fine details of the charm curl upward from the base in the form of an arching cathedral element, subtle milgraining, and textured engraving. The detail in this pendant is what sets it apart. This gorgeous original Georgian pendant is truly a work of art. The bail of this pendant is very wide and will easily accommodate your favorite chain. The approximate weight of the Amethyst is 11.0 carats. The pendant is 3/4" wide, 1" long, and 1 1/4" tall.

This is a beautiful example of a fob. The chalcedony on the bottom is in pristine condition. The deep scroll work is as beautiful today as it was when it was made. It looks like it went into someones jewelry box to only emerge recently. There is a lovely patina, born from age.
