Antique Madonna & Child Pendant
18ct Gold French Stamped
This exquisite antique pendant is a true gem for any collector of vintage jewellery. Crafted in the 1920s, it features a beautiful oval portrait of Madonna and Child in 18ct gold. The piece bears the hallmark of the French eagle's head, which is a symbol of the highest quality and purity of gold. What's more, the artist's name, E. Dropsy, is also engraved on the pendant, adding to its value and uniqueness.
The reverse side of the pendant boasts a stunning floral design, which adds a touch of elegance to the piece. The name "Alma Mager" is also engraved, possibly indicating that the piece was a gift from one admirer to another. This pendant is a true testament to the skill and artistry of the jewellery makers of the time and is sure to be a treasured addition to any jewellery collection.
The pendant measures approximately 26.6mm in height including the bail and ring, the width is 13.5mm
