A stunning, fine and impressive antique Russian 5.89 carat diamond and 3.53 carat Colombian emerald, 14 karat yellow gold with silver settings pendant/brooch; part of our diverse antique jewelry collection This stunning, fine and impressive antique cabochon cut emerald pendant / brooch has been crafted in 14k yellow gold with silver settings. The pierced decorated frame displays a feature cabochon cut emerald bezel set to the center of the arrangement. This stunning emerald is encircled with fourteen Old European round cut diamonds, in a scalloped, cluster style setting. The pendant / brooch is further ornamented with scrolling stylised leaf designs accented with further forty-eight pavé set Dutch cut diamonds, in addition to four subtly larger Old European cut diamonds to the cardinal points. The lower portion of the design terminates with a suspended scalloped cluster design embellished with a yellow gold bezel set, cushion cut emerald encompassed with twelve Old European cut diamonds. The pendant is suspended from a contemporary 18 k yellow gold 45.72cm/18" trace chain via a detachable diamond set bale attachment to the upper portion of the frame. This antique Victorian 15K gold demi-parure comprising pendant earrings and pendant brooch with chain is set with over 10.00 carats of cabochon almandine garnets. The elongated pendant earrings are designed as scrolling leaf motif tops, each with an oval cabochon garnet, flexibly suspending a reverse-tapering drop of floral and foliate form set with pear-shape and oval cabochon garnets, en suite with a conforming pendant brooch and delicate rectangular trace link chain. Still stylish today, the lightly voluminous, repoussé forms have an easy, gentle sway, while their soft bloomed gold and saturated red garnets enliven the eyes and face.
