Antique 3.58ct Ceylon Sapphire and 2.02ct Diamond 15k Yellow Gold Pendant

A stunning, fine and impressive antique 0.98 carat blue sapphire and 0.01 carat diamond, 18 karat yellow gold pendant; part of our antique jewellery and estate jewelry collections. This stunningantique pendant has been crafted in 18K yellow gold with an 18K white gold setting. The impressive circular frame has been modelled in the form of a floral and twisted ribbon decorated wreath, surmounted with bow design. The pierced decorated centre of the wreath is accented with a stemmed flower design, incorporating four impressive collet set pear faceted cut blue sapphires, totalling 0.98ct. The centre of the flower design incorporates an impressive quatrefoil shaped white gold setting embellished with a 0.01ct Dutch cut diamond. The reverse surface of this blue sapphire pendant is encompassed with engraved decoration, mirroring the floral and ribbon designs to the anterior surface; this indicates the high quality of the piece. The pendant is suspended from a contemporary 18K yellow gold 45.72cm/18' curb chain via a tapering bale, ornamented with further organic designs. The chain secures with a conventional spring-loaded bolt ring fastening. This blue sapphire and diamond pendant necklace has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 karat gold. This stunning, fine and impressive antique pendant has been crafted in 18k yellow gold and platinum set, with a 15k yellow gold chain. The drop style pendant displays a feature 2.59ct pear cut blue sapphire, claw set to the nadir of the design. The pear-shaped terminal of this Edwardian pendant suspends from an articulated linear drop, ornamented with two collet set Old European cut diamonds. The apex of the linear drop features an impressive cluster style setting, embellished with a 0.30ct round faceted cut sapphire to the centre, encircled with eight further Old European cut diamonds. The necklace suspends from a 16' yellow gold chain, securing to the reverse with a sheath style fastening.
