Antique Banded Agate and Pearl Bee Necklace
About the Item
This antique 15ct gold pendant features a pearl flower and bee on a large bulls eye agate framed by tiny banded agate beads and half pearls. The pendant dates to the late Victorian era (circa 1880-1900); however, the bee was a later addition.
The pendant measures 2.4 inches from the top of the bail to the bottom by 1.5 inches wide, and it is in great condition. It is accompanied by an 18.5 inch, 9ct gold chain.
The metal content of this necklace was verified via XRF (x ray analysis) and with jeweler's acids.
