About the Item
Delicate and poetic, this antique necklace (circa 1910) is a celebration of floral elegance and Edwardian sentimentality. Crafted in solid 14k gold, the piece features an enchanting array of enameled forget-me-nots, violets, and pansies, each flower hand-painted in soft pastel tones and accented with glinting diamond accents. The arrangement evokes the language of flowers—remembrance, loyalty, and love—making it as meaningful as it is beautiful.
Each bloom is richly detailed in enamel, with tiny old mine- or rose-cut diamonds sparkling from their centers. The necklace measures 15 inches in length, forming a graceful collar that drapes elegantly along the neckline.
The piece is in very good antique condition, with only two tiny chips to the enamel on the far-right pansy, visible only under close inspection. The gold has been tested via XRF and jeweler’s acid testing to confirm its 14k composition.
