Art Deco Large Hand Cut French Jet Pendant and Beaded Chain Necklace
About the Item
Art Deco large hand cut french jet pendant with a beaded chain necklace, and barrel clasp. The beautiful pendant has crescent, round and marquise shaped faceted french jet pieces. Each piece is in a black enameled setting and applied to enameled wire. The design is incredibly intricate. Measuring length 7.1cm / 2.8 inches by width 8cm / 3.1 inches, and the chain is length 58.8cm / 23.1 inches. There is some chipping to the black glass beads on the necklace, there is wear to the black enamel. There is a crack to the right hand long marquise piece, and a crack to the small left crescent moon piece. There are a few small round pieces missing on the pendant.
This is a fabulous detailed french jet necklace from the Art Deco era. A rare find.
