About the Item
This Plum Blossom necklace pendant is a unique sculptural piece made from 18 karat yellow gold, encrusted with 5 round diamonds and a removable cabochon smoky quartz drop. We use top natural diamonds, VS clarity and F-G color, and work with a German gems company that has been in the market since the 19th century.
The sculptural design adds extra highlights to the gold surface, making the light play brighter. The diamonds bring delicate blinks, and the open cabochon drop allows light to pass through the jewel.
This pendant is custom hand-made, and you can contact the artist to order it in white, rose, or black gold, as well as different gemstones such as topaz, garnet, rose or lemon quartz, or citrine. The collection also includes matching earrings and a ring. This limited edition jewellery piece collection was designed by Berlin-based painter Polya Medvedeva in 2018.
The Plum Blossom is a symbol of the energy of life, as these trees bloom very early at the end of winter.

Her designer jewelry combines the precise work of professional fine jewelers with a rich history of being in the market since the 19th century, along with new sculptural ideas by the artist herself. Polya's pieces are featured in Vogue UA, Harper’s Bazaar UA, Another magazine UK, and other publications. One of Polya's notable admirers is the German actress Anne Ratte-Polle, who selected her jewelry to wear on the red carpet of the Berlinale Film Festival.
