About the Item
This 18 karat yellow gold Fig drop pendant necklace features a detachable cabochon amethyst and has been featured in Vogue UA. The gem drop is designed to allow for optimal light exposure.
The collection was inspired by the sweet and fresh notes of fig fragrances and was created by Berlin-based artist Polya Medvedeva.
Fig is a sacred tree in ancient myths, symbolizing peace, fertility, generosity, and the richness of life. The fig is also equivalent to the forbidden apple in the Bible, and fig leaves were the only clothing worn by the first humans in the Garden of Eden.
