This Tobacco Flower Art Nouveau style pendant necklace is made of 18 karat yellow gold.
The natural gems are:
Oval ruby 4,27 carats, dimension: 11,16x9,36 mm.
Oval cold red sapphire, 0,95 carats.
Oval ruby warmer tone, 1,01 carats, 6,5x6 mm.
Pear cut cold malaya garnet, 1,25 carats.
Green oval cut sapphire, 0,95 carats.
Andalusites and natural blue zircon gems in oval cut, 2,25 carats in total.
An unusual form makes this piece an art object. Flowers often are an inspiration for Polya Medvedeva, for painting and for jewellery design. The tobacco flowers bloom through the night and symbolises a shamanic mystery of the all things hidden.
The ring from this collection was chosen by actress Anne Ratte-Polle for the Bavarian Film Award.
