Superb antique jewel it is composed of an openwork decoration of arabesques in white gold filigree which hold in the center a medal in mat gold representing the haloed virgin. "Ave Maria" is written at the bottom. A sapphire is millegrains set, and the antique medal holds a natural baroque pearl in the pendant. On the back, the pendant is chiselled with a chalice and an engraving in arabesques. Height: 5.5 cm, width at widest: 2.2 cm, thickness: 1.3 mm approximately. Total weight of the jewel: about 6.4 g.
