Circa 2005, Sterling Silver, by Robert Lee Morris, New York. This hyper-modern sterling necklace is part of a collection created in 2005 by Robert Lee Morris for Donna Karan's runway shows. Each piece was a one-of-a-kind based on his most iconic designs. This necklace was the show-stopper! A full page photo of Britney Spears wearing it is featured in Allure magazine, as well as a showing it worn on the runway during fashion week (shown in the listing). This is Morris's work at its edgy SoHo best. Excellent condition.
Remark: “Robert Lee Morris was a mover and a shaker in the Artwear movement opening a gallery of the same name in 1977. A collaborator with many important clothing designers, he built visual bridges between Sculpture, Fashion and Jewelry.”
