This grand pendant measures 2 inches in length by 1.39 inches in width. Stamped 750 with an Italian maker’s mark.

Fine Italian craftsmanship intertwines the textured 18 karat yellow gold and plique-à-jour enamel in a display of traditional intricate technique with a touch of bold, contemporary style. Plique-a-jour, meaning "letting in daylight," is a challenging and time intensive porcelain enamel technique dating back to the times of the Byzantine empire. With no backing on the translucent enamel, light shines through to create a stunning miniature stained glass effect.
A variety of signed gold chains, as well as leather and silk cords with 18 karat gold fittings, are available separately for purchase.
