About the Item
This is a Russian hand carved Black Jade Owl Easter Egg Pendant or Charm in 84 Silver. The pendant is adorned with a Silver mount on top modeled as an owl with wings, engraved with detailed patterns over a Black Jade egg. The Owl pendant is Hallmarked on the bale with the Faberge Workmaster mark of Oscar Pihl (1860-1897) Senior, Fabergé workmaster in Moscow – workmaster mark OP wm-op – active 1887-1897. It is also marked with the Russian silver standard 84.
The Owl on the egg pendant or charm is an absolutely elegant jewel with so much character. I just love the fabulous detailed owl and the wonderful black jade egg. It is a wonderful egg pendant to hang from your favorite necklace or a charm to add to your favorite charm bracelet. We do have more Russian egg pendants in other listings. I will include a photo of some of them!
The pendant is 32 mm (1 1/4 inches) long including the bales and is 14 mm wide.
Without the bales the owl is 23mm tall.
