About the Item
An unusual pendant/charm from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold, this piece features a "cube"-shaped bloodstone. The bloodstone displays a deep rich green hue, and is decorated with red marbling throughout. Each side of the "cube" is decorated with a bead-set ruby cabochon. The cabochons displays a pinkish-red hue, which wonderfully contrasts the hue of the bloodstone. The rubies are bordered by gold star-motif frames. The top of the pendant/charm features a complementary bail. A unique piece, this pendant/charm would look lovely on a simple gold chain and would be a great gift for any Victorian-era collector!
Measurements: The pendant/charm hangs approximately 1" long (including the bail) and has a width of 3/4".
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant/charm is excellent. There is no damage to the gold setting or to the bloodstone cube. All of the rubies are secure and intact. The complementary bail is securely attached and in working order.
