A Victorian garnet and diamond pendant, the old brilliant-cut diamond set star to the centre of a round cabochon-cut garnet, within a frame of entwined gold surmounted from a twisted wire pendant loop, the pendant measuring approximately 3.8 x 2.7cm, suspended from a gold snake chain measuring approximately 43cm in length and 0.3cm in width, circa 1870, gross weight 39.6 grams. Unmarked tested as 18ct gold. A Victorian garnet and diamond pendant in very good condition. This splendid pendant on a substantial chain comes from the collection of Bentley & Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales. A stunning, fine and impressive antique Victorian natural pearl and 0.94 carat diamond, 9 karat yellow gold and silver set pendant; part of our diverse antique jewelry and estate jewelry collections. This stunning, fine and impressive antique Victorian pendant has been crafted in 9k yellow gold and silver. The pierced decorated pendant has a central interlacing scrolling design, accented with a central stylised floral design comprised of five impressive feature Old European cut diamonds, in a combination of claw and millegrain bezel settings. The symmetrical silver set frame is further ornamented with twenty-nine pavé set Dutch cut diamonds. The upper portion of the scrolling design terminates with two further Old European cut diamonds, in addition to a central trefoil shaped cluster ornamented with three natural pearls. Either side of the antique setting incorporates an interlacing loop embellished with further natural pearl terminals.
