Behold, the coveted ruby halo A. Augis love pendant. This is an authentic, vintage pendant, sourced from France, is one of the hottest jewelry items available outside brands like Van Cleef and Cartier. Below is an exerpt that describes the significane of the Augis love charm.
Made by French jeweller Alphonse Augis in the mid-20th century, the Augis pendant has resurged in popularity recently due to a celebrity spotlight(s).
The writing is based on a poem by Rosemonde Gérard called “L’éternelle chanson” or the eternal song, in English. The line in the poem is “And as every day I love you more; greater than yesterday, less than tomorrow.” The writing on the charm is “(+) Qu’Hier (-) Que Demain” which translates to: greater than yesterday, less than tomorrow.
The ruby halo iteration of this charm is the king of all the versions that are available. This particular one has a diameter of 2.3cm and weighs 4.7 grams. It is solid 18k gold, and has 5 natural diamonds in the cross, three baguette verneuil rubies in the minus sign, and a halo of baguette verneuil rubies wrapped all around. On the back there is a personal inscription with a name and date (February 22nd). This can be removed upon request.
