Vintage Egyptian Revival Scarab Necklace and Cuff 1970s
About the Item
A vintage Thomas Fattorini winged scarab necklace and cuff. A rare opportunity to acquire a beautifully made Egyptian Revival set that carries a mesmerising story. Commissioned by the Times newspaper in 1972, Thomas Fattorini, created jewellery for London's British Museum during the Tutankhamun Exhibition. Mirroring artefacts, the Egyptian pectoral necklace and Egyptian cuff are designed with an impactful combination of gold plated metal and enamelling artfully showcasing the large faux lapis lazuli scarab centrepieces. Wearable art at its best.
Vintage Condition: Very good without damage or noteworthy wear.
