Its creator Alphonse Augis, grandson of the founder of the House, then had the idea of transcribing the verses of a famous poem by Mrs. Rosemonde Rostand entitled "The Old Ones" dating from 1889, a true declaration of love to her husband Edmond Rostand. "Because you see every day I love you more, today more than yesterday and much less than tomorrow." The drawing varies, but usually includes a quote from a poem with "more than" and "less than" represented by plus and minus signs, often decorated with precious stones, traditionally rubies. This pendant in diferent styles was produced starting from 1900 and this particular one dates the period of 1970-80s years. They stay not much, so every piece found is really unique one.
