About the Item
An exceptionally fine antique sterling silver and enamel jewellery casket.
Beautifully shaped sterling silver box standing on four raised paw feet.
To the lid there is a white guilloche enamelled oval panel hand enamelled with a fine spray of pansy flowers in dark pink, purple and green.
The box retains the original gilt lining to the inner lid and the base is lined in a dusky pink velvet.
The base is black leather covered.
The enamel is in fine condition with no chips or cracks.
Fully hallmarked to the inner rim;
Birmingham 1912, Patterson and Sons.
Condition:
Very Good used condition overall, signs of use and wear commensurate with age.
