The surface of each plain rounded clip is embellished with an impressive white gold collet set modern brilliant round cut diamond. Each sprung hinged clip is further ornamented with a 18k white gold panel of ribbed decoration. The clips articulate and conjoin via a yellow gold curb style chain. The impressive clips are hallmarked to the reverse with the 18k gold fineness mark ( 750 ), the maker's mark (UNOAERRE) and the town mark for Arezzo, Italy (1 AR); the piece also bears the London import mark, the importer's mark (WJ) and the import date letter for 1981 (G). The convex brooch setting is ornamented with a pierced decorated trellis design. The antique brooch is ornamented with forty-six impressive individually claw set Old European cut diamonds, totalling 2.06cts. The diamond brooch secures to the reverse with a double hinged pin and clasp.
