About the Item
Finely detailed antique buckle ring (circa 1913) crafted in 9 karat rose gold.
The stylish antique ring features the ever popular buckle design that symbolizes the joining of two lives together. The ring is great worn alone, stacked or as an alternative wedding band. English in origin, the band features several hallmarks (see below). The chased floral pattern is evident around the entire band.
The ring is in good condition. The inner band shows evidence of a previous resize.

Size & Measurements: The ring is a size 10 (sizable). The band measures 6.5mm wide (0.25 inches), rising 1.5mm from the finger.
Metal & Hallmark: 9 karat yellow gold. The ring features several hallmarks. The first is the Makers Mark "S&G" followed "9" and "375" for 9k gold. The next hallmark is an anchor (on it's side) which is the Mark of Origin for Birmingham, UK. The final hallmark is the Date Letter sequence (letter "O" for the year 1913.
