About the Item

Here we have a beautiful example of a classic smooth finish comfort fit band. Typically worn by men, but acceptable for anyone. perfect as a wedding band, but very versatile. The simple design allows this ring to be worn alone, stacked with other bands or paired with a vintage engagement ring. Crafted in 18K yellow gold this piece is in great condition for its age and has a clean maker's mark stamped on the inside. Matthew C. Ellis founded the Ellis Bros company in 1872 in Toronto. It did well for any years and had a big part in the building of Toronto. Ellis Brothers closed in 1928 and became Birks Jewelry. (Metal has been tested in shop with Kee Gold Corp metal tester to insure authenticity) This is a truly a classic piece, and we are honored to offer it to our 1st Dibs family.
