C1920 18K and Platinum Eternity Band with a Horizontal Array of Diamonds
About the Item
Clever eternity band set in an East West configuration with platinum on one half and 18K on the other. We love the contrast of the round diamonds on the outside of the band and the square cuts on the inside. There is beading within each diamond which helps hold the diamonds securely in place, a common method used during this period.
This ring has twelve 4 point cushion cut diamonds totalling approximately 1/2 carat.
It will easily fit a size 6 1/2 finger but should not be sized as the pattern would be altered. The ring can be worn everyday. It is perfect for stacking and will compliment all your rings whether silver, platinum or gold.
There is a rubbed maker's mark with the initials CC, which interestingly was the maker's mark for the famous firm Castellani enclosed within a diamond shape. The CC on this ring is not enclosed in the diamond shape, so we are unsure what firm the maker's mark actually represents.
