High Karat Gold Enamel Fold Over Ring Victorian
About the Item
An impactful ring that is exquisite, elegant and timeless though it is a prize for an antique jewelry collector. The ring is scarce. The workmanship is glorious. In 18kt gold, the fold over band has blue enamel engraved with roses all around. The engraving on the roses is ridged with one flower connected to the other by vines. The blue is the color of a twilight sky. Both borders are engraved with a leaf pattern that looks like a rope. What a find for an antique ring that could be a most unusual wedding band. Perfect condition.
