About the Item

Beautiful Halo Ring from XIX century in period Leather and Silk box. Band in solid 18K Yellow Gold with ornaments and Black enameled panels. The Crown has Silver clusters fused with Gold on the bottom. The crown is 17 mm x 8 mm x 5 mm deep with claw-mounted natural Blue Turquoise and 14 rose cut Diamonds. All stones have backs closed. Turquoise cut cabochon measures : 10 mm x 7 mm / ca. 2.5 ct. Turquoise is of strong Blue color, with fine bands of various Blues visible under 10 x magnification. 14 Diamonds, rose cut circa Ø 3 mm / 0,11 ct each / ca. 1.5 ct total. Marked 18K, Swedish Ring. Maker is GD&Co, city of Malmö. Marks of the year on this ring G6 = made in 1885. Used in fine condition. Natural patina on metal. No missing stones. Size: Ø 8 US / Ø 18.19 mm.
