About the Item

Art Deco period Ring featuring old diamond cut Diamonds arranged in fancy eye-shaped pattern. Hallmarked 18K, Customs hallmarks / imported to Sweden, worn year or import marks C8 / made in 1929. All stones have open backs. Eye-shaped composite Gold -Silver crown with clusters measures 15 mm x 7 mm x 5 mm deep. Weight : 3 grams There are 13 stones. The largest is a marquise old diamond cut Diamond 6 mm x 4 mm x 2.15 mm / ca. 0.35 ct. of a bit irregular cut with one corner a bit shorter than the other. There is an internal flow inside the stone visible under x 10 magnification. 12 old diamond cut Diamonds on perimeter Ø range 2.5 mm - 2 mm weight about 0.7 ct together Total diamonds weight: ca. 1 ct . Color ca.G,H / VS,SI Fine Used condition. Dark patina on metal, this ring was not in use for some decades. Traces of old rhodium plating on internal side of the band. Size of the ring: Ø 5.5US scale / Ø 16.10 mm, no traces of past sizing. Can be sized for additional payment. > Most of the items that we sell are not new at all if not stated otherwise. Stones with closed backs may seem darker than stones with open backs. Such nuances of color perception do not give any excuse to claim item to be not as described. We will not be responsible if in the process of resizing or customization any stone on the ring becomes loose, if any deformation occurs in general or if band of the ring changes shape or becomes deformed. It is often difficult or impossible to get an accurate characteristics of the weight , color and nature of inclusions without removing the stones from the settings to be weighed and examined and doing that may damage the piece.
