About the Item

Beautiful Sapphire + Diamonds + Platinum Ring from 1900s -1920s. All metal parts of this ring are made of solid Platinum. Crown measures 19 mm x 8 mm x 4 mm. Beautifully oval cut natural Blue Sapphire stone of darker tone is 7.5 mm x 5.5 mm x 3.75 ct / 1.2 ct . There are 8 more gradually sized care cut Sapphires + two Ø 2 mm /0.03ct each old diamond cut Diamonds and 20 additional gradually sized rose cut Diamonds on the shoulders. Metal was tested solid Platinum. No clear hallmarks of maker or period. Condition is fine used. No stones missing. The Sapphire has minor wear to some facets / visible under magnification only and not noticeable to naked eye from casual distance. Size : Ø 7.25 US scale / about 17.45 mm. Sizing is possible. Gemstones may often look differently in different light and weather conditions and time of the day, both indoors and outdoors. Stones of the rings photographed alone may look a bit differently when on hand because your finger makes the back side of the stone closed and light no longer can go through and the color becomes different. Stones with closed backs may seem darker than stones with open backs. Such nuances of color perception do not give any excuse to claim item to be not as described. Some buyers tried to make return of the items and to avoid paying shipping and restock expenses claimed that : " color is different from that on image .. " there are inclusions that I didn't notice " "it looks smaller than I expected" .. Unfortunately Internet sales do not allow us to see the items in person before we get them by post. We will not be responsible if in the process of resizing or customization any stone on the ring becomes loose , if any deformation occurs in general or if band of the ring changes shape or becomes deformed.
