About the Item

Very unusual Halo thing, with Sapphires accenting Diamond in the center of the flower.This design is opposite to conventional or stereotypical construction type where Sapphire is in the center with Diamonds flashing around. Silver crown Ø 9.5 mm x 6 mm deep on 18K Green. Gold band with carved leaves on the shoulders. European late XIX - early XX century, band hallmarked 775. Exact origin unknown. Diamond is Ø 4.75 mm / ca. 045 ct. + eight old diamond - cut Sapphires of Blue with tint of Green color rose cut Ø 2mm / ca. 0.03 ct each. All stones with closed and foiled under backs. Size: Ø US 6.75 / 17.13 mm.This ring has no signs of previous sizing. Can be sized. Weight: 2.9 grams. Fine used condition.Diamonds intact, minor wear to the facets of Sapphires. Stones with closed backs may seem darker than stones with open backs. Such nuances of color perception do not give any excuse to claim item to be not as described. Some buyers tried to make return of the items and to avoid paying shipping and restock expenses claimed that : " color is different from that on image .. " there are inclusions that I didn't notice " "it looks smaller than I expected" ! Unfortunately Internet sales do not allow us to see the items in person before we get them by post.
