About the Item

Antique cluster/cocktail Ring, Swedish hand-made with fifteen clusters in White gold boasting natural Ceylon Sapphires and a natural Diamond. The crown measures 22mm x 13 mm x 5.5 mm deep, back side of the crown is a bit concave shaped for the best fit.. All Sapphires of cornflower color variety: show flaws, inclusions, and color banding typical for naturals. Total weight of the stones ca. 5 ctw. Old European cut Diamond Ø 5mm x 2.75 mm / 0.6ct, color ca F, G / VS, a natural is visible on the table under x 10 magnification. Fragmented Swedish hallmarks: 18K, maker's initials, city of Stockholm. Made ca. 1920s -1930s . Size: Ø8.25 US / 18.34 mm. Can be sized for extra. Weight: 4.53 grams. Used, in fine condition. Some sapphires show minor wear to facets ( She loved to wear it! ) Natural patina on Gold. > Most of the items that we sell are not new at all if not stated otherwise. Gemstones may often look differently in different light and weather conditions and time of the day, both indoors and outdoors. Stones of the rings photographed alone may look a bit differently when on hand because your finger makes the back side of the stone closed and light no longer can go through and the color becomes different. Stones with closed backs may seem darker than stones with open backs. Such nuances of color perception do not give any excuse to claim item to be not as described.
