About the Item

Tourmaline and Diamonds Halo Ring from ca. 1900s -1920s or older. Likely German. Carved band in solid 14ct Green Gold (tested) with crown in Silver featuring clusters with natural Green Tourmaline stone Ø 9 mm x 5 mm deep / ca. 3 ct. that looks pretty much like an Emerald, accented with eight Ø 4 mm / 0.25 ct rose cut diamonds with total weight about 2 ctw . All stones have their backs closed and likely foiled under. Band hallmarked 585 . Measurements: the crown is Ø 16 mm x 10 mm deep. Size: Ø US 8 / 18.19 mm . Can be sized. Weight: 7 grams. Used fine condition. Patina on metal parts. Minor signs of wear on Tourmaline's surface visible under x 10 magnification. One Diamond is chipped, small empty space was filled with some hard filler that turned brown. Replacement is possible but not necessary at all .
