About the Item

Old ring with band in solid 18K Gold and navette / boat shaped crown likely in Silver measuring 23 mm x 12 mm x 4 mm deep set with nine oval cut Red Bohemian Garnets 5 mm x 3.5 mm / ca 0.3ct each or 3ct total weight. Likely German or Austrian, hand- made ca. 1920s -1930s hallmarked 18K and early 20th century type Swedish Customs marks confirming 18K alloy. Size Ø 6.5 US / 16.92 mm. It can be sized. Weight: 3.12 grams. Used, in fine condition. Some stones show minor wear to facets. > Most of the items that we sell at Atelier De Montplaisir are not new at all if not stated otherwise. Gemstones may often look differently in different light and weather conditions and time of the day, both indoors and outdoors. Stones of the rings photographed alone may look a bit differently when on hand because your finger makes the back side of the stone closed and light no longer can go through and the color becomes different. Stones with closed backs may seem darker than stones with open backs. Such nuances of color perception do not give any excuse to claim item to be not as described.
