Victorian 0.40ct Sapphire and Diamond Halo Ring, c.1900s
About the Item
This gorgeous sapphire ring was made entirely by hand in the 1900s. The natural deep blue sapphire is old cut, and is 0.40 carat. It is surrounded by eight old cut diamonds, totalling to 0.64 carat. They are great quality, with grades of G colour and VS clarity. The craftsmanship is evident in the detailing on the gallery and in the carved shoulders, as well as in the refined claws holding the gemstones.
